The group hosted two Humboldt Prize Laureates, Thomas J. Weiler (Vanderbilt University, USA) in 2009 and 2010 and Sandip Pakvasa (University of Hawaii, USA)
in 2013. We also raised a DFG Mercator Professorship for Gautam Bhattacharyya (Saha Institute for Nuclear Physics Kolkata, India) in 2012 and Gambrinus Fellowships
for Ben C. Allanach (University of Cambridge, UK) in 2009 and for Thomas W. Kephart (Vanderbilt University, USA) in 2013.
